Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Inclusion

Doveridge Primary School is a fully inclusive school, that offers personalised provision to support a range of children with special educational needs and disabilities. Our children are recognised as individuals and we tailor our provision according to a pupil’s ability and development needs.

Our School vision is ‘Together we will succeed to be the best we can be’ and it is at the heart of every aspect of school life. We are committed to identifying and providing for the needs of all children so we collaborate closely as a staff team, with parents and external providers to ensure all our pupils reach their full potential in a caring, happy, safe and stimulating environment through a broad, balanced and challenging curriculum.

Please read our SEN policy and SEN information report to find out more about what we offer.

Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) is Mrs Natasha Clark (Headteacher) and our SEN Governor is Mrs Kate Bynoe.

Complaints:
Parents with concerns regarding the school’s SEN provision should raise their concerns initially with either the class teacher, SENCO/ Headteacher. The school’s Complaints Policy should be followed for any concerns which parents may have.

Please contact the school office (01889 563346) to speak to one of our staff.
