The National Stone Centre

As a cross curricular link with KS2's science topic 'Rocks' and Class 4's 'Who let the Gods out?' book we took a trip to the National Stone Centre where the children took part in a range of learning experiences, from hunting for fossils of brachiopods to gem panning for their own semi-precious gems.
