Doveridge Primary School Nursery is run by our Nursery Lead - Mrs Elizabeth Carlyon.
All children are entitled to 15 hours of free provision from the term after their 3rd birthday and some will be entitled to up to 30 hours of free provision. Check your eligibility here
The Nursery is accessible during school hours 8:45am - 3:25pm, Monday to Friday. Please be aware that a minimum booking of the equivalent of 15 hours is required to book a place. We are registered with Tax-free Childcare.
If not entitled to 30 hours Government Funding, additional hours can be purchased for £15 for a morning, or afternoon session. If your child will be joining us over lunch time, a cost of £4 will apply. Cost of additional hours beyond the 30-hour funding will be charged at £6.50 per hour.
Wrap around care is available from 8am- 8:50am for Morning Club (Monday - Friday) at a cost of £6 as well as Afterschool Club (Monday - Thursday) at a cost of £8 which runs from 3:25pm - 4:30pm. You can find the booking form here.
Forest School
We are proud to offer a unique Forest School provision that immerses children in nature and fosters a deep connection with the outdoors. This innovative approach encourages hands-on learning through exploration, play, and adventure in a natural woodland setting. Children engage in activities such as building dens, exploring wildlife, and participating in creative outdoor crafts, all of which enhance their physical, social, and emotional development. Our Forest School program not only promotes independence and confidence but also nurtures a lifelong appreciation for the environment.
